| CLC in QUEENSLAND | |
Several CLC groups formed in Queensland in the mid eighties after Jose Gsell from France and Patrick O'Sullivan SJ from Australia visited Brisbane and other capital cities in Australia and spoke about the CLC way of life and its foundations in Ignatian spirituality. Currently there are about 50 members in 7 groups located in Toowong, Ferny Grove, Petrie and Jindalee as well as at the Gold Coast and Toowoomba. There are also new groups formed in the Ferny Grove and Toowoomba areas. Members of CLC are actively involved in all walks of life with many involved in parishes, retreat ministry, education, health, administration and family life. Some groups have a particular outreach e.g. to support refugee families while other groups support one another to live the CLC way of life.
